This apron is that of the Patron (Protecteur), in the Order of the Eastern Star (OES). Pentagonal in shape, it is made of multicoloured natural silk, hand-embroidered and edged with a fine gold border. It is adorned with the Star of the Order and two decorative gold tassels.
