The Ankh in Egyptian Masonic tradition
The Ankh is one of the most meaningful hieroglyphs in the tradition of the ancient Mysteries. In the Rite of Memphis-Misraïm, founded on the teachings of pharaonic Egypt, it recalls the continuity between profane work and the initiatic quest: self-mastery as a path towards the light. Visible during the meeting, it recalls the commitment made at initiation.
Which rite / degree
These gloves are intended in particular for members of the Rite of Memphis-Misraïm, of the Royal Arch and of obediences that include the symbolism of the Mysteries of ancient Egypt. They are suitable for Brethren and Sisters alike.
Measure your dominant hand (your right hand if you are right-handed). If in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one (cotton, even high quality, always shrinks a little bit in the wash).
