This Master Mason’s sash (cordon) for the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Misraïm is made of turquoise blue natural silk edged with purple. Hand-embroidered, it is adorned with a red rosette and the Square and Compasses. The rosette is stiffened and mounted on a backing to keep regular pleats.
