Who is this collection for?
Use in Blue Lodge and REAA Rituals
In the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, the blue box groups together the first three symbolic degrees: Apprentice, Fellow and Master. These degrees are considered the basis of all Masonic progression. Each ritual outfit within the blue lodge is marked with a strict dress code Wearing an apron, white gloves, lanyard and neckerchief specific to its function is compulsory.
Visit lodge officersincluding the Venerable Master, each has a defined symbolic and operational role in the ritual. Their decorations make it possible to visualize their hierarchical function at first glance and reinforce the solemnity of the work. The Venerable's apron, for example, is distinguished by richer borders and motifs, sometimes enhanced by gilded embroidery or symbolic elements such as the square or the flamboyant Delta.
In this sense, scenery is more than just a prop: they embody Masonic role, commitment and regularity of the wearer in the symbolic architecture of the REAA. The quality and accuracy of the symbols and respect for ritual colors directly contribute to the effectiveness of the ritual, by creating a harmonious, structured space.
Link with REAA High Grades
Although this collection is dedicated to blue boxit is also the gateway to the top ranks of the REAA. In fact, rigor in the wearing of decorations from the first three degrees is a sign of seriousness in the progression to the higher degrees (4th to 33rd).
Brothers and sisters who hold officer positions in blue lodges are often those who go on to work in the lodges of perfection or chapters of the REAA. This initiatory and symbolic link between the symbolic degrees and the high ranks makes the choice of decor an essential step, right from the first functions.
Choosing a decor that complies with and respects the rite also means honoring the REAA tradition in all its richness, and lay the foundations for a coherent and harmonious Masonic path.
