This collar (sautoir) is that of the Director of Ceremonies (Maître des Cérémonies) in the Groussier French Rite (RFG). It is made of turquoise-blue natural silk and bears the insignia of the office embroidered in gold, by hand. The black back is lined and carries a funeral print. It can be ordered with or without a jewel.
