Description
The Deputy Master (MESA) Pack of the Rectified Scottish Rite includes a Masonic apron and a matching collar. This pack is designed for Scottish Masters of Saint Andrew.
Making and design
The apron, with its trapezoidal green flap edged in red, is adorned with gold fringes and three red rosettes, designed to keep regular folds. The flap rosette, removable and fixed with Velcro, can be changed according to the wearer’s preference. The standard dimensions of 41 x 34 cm follow the usage of the Rite.
Matching collar
The collar, also included in the pack, is made of green natural silk with red edging and gold fringes. As with the apron, the collar rosette is removable and interchangeable, so the regalia can be adapted to different offices and occasions.
Symbolism and meaning
The colours, motifs and rosettes reflect the rank of Deputy Master, as well as the commitment and responsibility that come with this position in the Rectified Scottish Rite.
