The Scottish Master of St Andrew (MESA) Pack of the Rectified Scottish Rite (RER) includes a Masonic apron symbolising the rank of this high degree. The apron is designed to reflect the importance and dignity of the role of Scottish Master of St Andrew. Edged and lined in green, with a green trapezoidal flap edged in red, it embodies the tradition and prestige attached to this title.

Craftsmanship and design

The apron is decorated with three red rosettes, stiffened and mounted on a backing so the pleats stay regular in all circumstances. The rosette on the flap is removable and attached with Velcro, so it can be replaced according to the rank or degree represented. Red rosettes with a white button for Novice Squires (Écuyers Novices) and for the CBCS are also included, making the apron adaptable.

Function and comfort

The adjustable green belt, fitted with a bronze clasp, ensures a comfortable fit. The back of the apron, also in green, is lined for good support. It has two rear pockets to hold gloves and accessories.
