2nd Order Sash Jewel - French Rite Higher Degrees
This is the jewel of the 2nd Order, Grand Elect Scot (Grand Élu Écossais), of the Orders of Wisdom of the French Rite, worked in Chapter. It depicts crowned Compasses, open on an arc bearing the numbers 3, 5, 7, 9 and framing the Blazing Star with the letter G. It is made of airain, a copper alloy akin to bronze or brass.
