This Worshipful Master’s apron is intended for the Scottish Standard Rite (Rite Standard d’Écosse). It is made of imitation leather, embroidered by hand, edged with “Royal Stewart” tartan set off by gold braid, and decorated with two taus accompanied by two pendants (pendeloques). The rounded flap, finished with gold fringe, bears the Master’s symbol as well as the Sun, the Moon and thistles.
The red belt is adjustable and closes with a bronze snake buckle. The black back is lined to keep the apron well in shape and has two rear pockets for gloves and accessories.
