Freemasonry & Ternarity (Rabi Zied-Odnil)

Freemasonry book: Freemasonry & Ternarity

Freemason (French) SHEKINAH-EDITIONS - June 27, 2020

Author: Rabi Zied-Odnil

The numbers three, five and seven are generally attributed to the age acquired by the Freemason on the Masonic initiatory path. Three years for the apprentice, five years for the journeyman and seven years and more for the master.

However, it is also claimed that three direct it, five enlighten it and seven make it just and perfect, this time referring to the number of officers needed to open a lodge.

These two definitions apparently have nothing in common, yet it would be surprising if this was due to the simple fact of chance, especially since the thesis that we have always developed so far has been to say that chance does not exist not, and that it was only the fruit of ignorance. Also, there must necessarily be a correlation between the two.

The ternary elements are many, and while the Trinity is considered by some theistic Freemasons to be the most important doctrine, there are many essential aspects in Freemasonry that are ignored.

We do not make an inventory here of all the ternary elements existing in Freemasonry, because they are far too numerous, however we have taken the main ones in order to detail them and highlight their common thread.
