Craft Lodge tools and accessories
Masonic lodge tools and accessories
Masonic tools are at the heart of initiatory symbolism: each construction tool — square, compasses, gavel, chisel, plumb line, level, trowel — corresponds to a moral virtue and a stage in the Brother's or Sister's inner work. Used during meetings, they also feature on tracing boards and Masonic regalia.
Ritual tools by degree
Masonic tradition associates a primary tool with each craft degree:
- Entered Apprentice (1st degree) — the Chisel and Gavel: dress the rough ashlar, remove the rough edges of character
- Fellowcraft (2nd degree) — the Rule, Compasses and Plumb: measure, balance, straighten
- Master Mason (3rd degree) — the Trowel: unite Brothers with the cement of Brotherly Love
Beyond the craft degrees, the higher degrees of the AASR and the French Rite introduce other ritual tools and instruments — sword, dagger, crozier, sceptre — accompanying degree ceremonies.
Lodge accessories: essential equipment
Beyond symbolic tools, a well-equipped lodge needs various practical accessories: ritual books, ballot boxes, registers, floor cords, chains of union, apron studs, lapel pins and Masonic ties. This collection gathers all the essential lodge equipment necessary for meetings to run smoothly, whether equipping a new lodge or a Brother looking to complete his personal kit.
Quality and authenticity
All our Masonic tools and accessories are selected for their compliance with ritual traditions and their manufacturing quality. Masonic gavels are made of solid wood, and metal tools feature brass or silver finishes. Shipping from France, delivery throughout the French-speaking world.
